Americans should take care of our own

Most of us are in touch with what is called a conscience, an innate ability to recognize right from wrong. Unfortunately, when it comes to money and business, many people leave that conscience at the door, and these days we need to reclaim a firm sense of moral integrity and more than a little bit of real, honest, genuine patriotism if we are going to be able to regain our footing as a sovereign nation.

The fabric of our country, its Constitution, and its economy have been usurped by globalists who have taken what was once uniquely ours and diluted it for their own gain through the centralization of global banking and the dissolving of borders in matters of commerce. To put it simply, practically all of the resources are in a very few pockets, and these few control an ever more consolidated number of corporations that dominate the global economy.

There are no easy answers, because their reach is so significant that it is largely impossible to address the problem at its root. But what we can do is try to take care of our own wherever we can. Though it is tougher and tougher to succeed, there are a lot of smaller, privately owned businesses out there, and we need to do what we can to recognize that the decisions we make have enormous impact on our fellow Americans. To be frank, what is necessary is a step away from personal interests that border on greed and a step toward empathizing with the people around us.

The suggestion here is to forgo outsourcing in favor of hiring and/or retaining American workers, and to do what you can to pay as much as you can instead of as little as you can. This may fly in the face of Business 101, but take a look around you. The economy relies on people having  jobs and some disposable income to spread around. There is no way we can rebound if we continue to outsource and take advantage of the unemployment situation and pay less due to a limited supply of and demand for jobs.

Not everyone is in a position to do so…but if you can, consider hiring an American and giving that person the opportunity to assist in the recovery of the economy by paying them a living wage rather than outsourcing that work overseas or low-balling your applicants.
