Daily exercise is key to good health
There is a lot of talk in the media about the issue of “healthcare,” but in reality they are not talking about health at all–they are talking about reactions to sickness. They best way to address the issue of healthcare is to do all that you can to keep yourself healthy and out of the cycle of frequent visits to expensive doctors who usually do nothing more than prescribe costly pharmaceuticals to “trick” your body, and that can’t possibly be good for you in the big picture.
People tend to think that ill health is a natural part of aging, but that is simply not true–it’s a marketing ploy intended to legitimize the lifestyles that wind up making you sick. The reason why health problems occur in older people is due to the accumulation of unhealthy habits, not because of the number of years they have been on the planet. If you have been smoking for forty years, or eating any and everything with no concern whatsoever about the result, those choices are going to catch up with you.
The single most important thing that anyone can do to stay healthy is to exercise daily. Exercise is a necessary aspect of human life, but many people seem to feel as though it is optional, and they wind up paying the price with health problems. There are also those who exercise for a while, but they do so for the wrong reasons, and because of this they don’t stick to it. Exercise is like changing the oil in your car or brushing your teeth–it is necessary maintenance, and if you don’t do it, you will suffer a negative result.
Even if you simply take a long walk every day you will be making a positive difference and improving your health physically, but it also good for your mental health to get outdoors, burn some energy and let go of the stress that you are holding from the day’s events. You sleep better and feel more calm after getting some exercise. The fact that we all need to exercise is simply common sense, and if everyone did in fact engage in an hour of aerobic exercise every day, the overall money spent on “healthcare” would plummet overnight.
