The Democrats are proposing what is being called an immigration reform bill (why isn’t it illegal immigration reform?) that ostensibly provides money for more border patrol agents and hardware, things like helicopters and drones. It would seem to me that a lack of funding and manpower should never have been an issue, particularly when you consider the billions we are paying for the newly created Department of Homeland Security.
