Florida travel in April

Taking a break during the spring and spending it on the sunny beaches of Florida is something that many college students look forward to each and every year, but hey, it is a great time for the rest of us to take a vacation as well. When you live in an area that has a seasonal climate, the first hints of spring are always welcome, and this time of year can elevate your mood and get you thinking about having some fun, and what better place to do it than in the Sunshine State?

The great thing about the state of Florida as a vacation destination is that there are many different very desirable destinations, and they offer something for everyone, from the students looking to party hard and hit the clubs, to families with small children and everyone in between. Everyone is aware of the many attractions that are available to keep the family busy in and around Orlando, and of course the hot bodies and vibrant nightlife of South Beach in Miami hold a particular appeal. There is of course the Tampa Bay area as well, with its lovely beaches and countless recreational opportunities, and who wouldn’t want to spend some time on Duval Street in the unique haven of Key West?

Though all of the most popular and easily identifiable destinations in Florida are fantastic places to visit, you can also do your research and identify many other treasures throughout the state, such as the barrier islands like Marco and Sanibel Islands and Siesta and Lido Keys in the southwest portion of Florida. You can hit the beach in Venice and search for prehistoric shark’s teeth, or head over to the northwest part of the state and walk the beautiful white sands of the Destin beach.

If you can swing it, carve a week or two out of your hectic schedule and have some fun amid the warmth and beauty of the fabulous state of Florida, where a good time awaits everyone whether you are a fisherman, a golfer, a party animal, or someone who is simply looking for a little bit of relaxation, peace and quiet.
