Spanish Beef Stew with Potatoes

If you want to enjoy a delicious and filling meal on a blustery night, making a hearty stew may be the perfect choice. For a taste of Spain, here is a tasty recipe for beef stew with potatoes.
Ingredients:
500 grams of Beef for stewing
500 grams of Potatoes, peeled and cut into large portions
250 grams of Carrots, peeled and cut into large portions
1 medium onion, chopped
3 tomatoes, skinned and chopped
1 small can of peas
2 cloves of garlic, chopped finely
3 tablespoons of olive oil
1 tablespoon of paprika
1 teaspoon of flour
1 glass of white wine
250 ml beef stock
150 ml water
Salt and ground pepper to taste
Saffron
Directions:
1.Heat the oil in a large pot and fry onion and garlic. After 5 minutes, add the flour and paprika.
2.Once mixed, add the meat and cook until brown.
3.Mix in the white wine, beef stock, and water. Bring to a boil and simmer for about an hour and a half until beef is tender.
4.Include the carrots, potatoes, peas, tomatoes, and a bit of saffron to the pot and cook for around 25 to 30 minutes or until potatoes and carrots are cooked.
5.Serve on top of rice or with crusty bread. Makes 4 servings.
